Linda Grace Ely

Funeral service for Linda Grace Ely will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 12:00 noon, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 11:00 am, 1 hour prior to service time. Bro. Jason Rolen will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Linda was born May 17, 1945, in Jasper, Alabama, to David Chilton and Mageline Grace Amerson. She married Oscar Ely, Jr. in Houston. She was a member of Believers Baptist Church. Survivors include: Sons: Christopher Ely, wife Jennifer, and Johnny Ely, wife Nelda, all of Emory. Brother: Thelbert Amerson.  Grandchildren: Brandi Ely, Johnny Ely, Christopher Ely and Bryton Ely.  Great-granddaughter: Ellisyn “Elli” Ely, Numerous other loving family and friends.Preceded in death by: parents, husband in 2013, 3 brothers, Hoss Amerson, Rass Amerson, and Jerry Amerson. 2 sisters, Charlotte Stone, and Maratha Green
