Funeral services for Carolyn May, age 71, of Yantis will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 26, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Wright officiating.
Interment will follow at Yantis Cemetery with Tommy Wayne Davis, Shannon Davis, Benjamin Saunders, Kyle Verner, and Rolando Lopez serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Carolyn passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 in Tyler. She was born on October 2, 1942 in Wood County the daughter of William Alton and Nellie Beth Massey Ogle. She married Billy Paul May and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by daughters, Teresa Conger and husband Jace of Sunnyvale, TX, Paula Saunders and Larry Pickett of Watauga, TX, sisters, Martha Bland of Alexander, AR, Linda Nichols and husband Robert of Como, Patsy Davis and husband Tommy of Yantis. Grandchildren, Benjamin Paul Saunders, Shelbea Lynn Saunders, Colin Joseph Saunders, Jennifer Nguyen, and Haley Conger, great-grandchildren, Tae Nguyen, and Jadalyn McKay Saunders, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Bill Ogle in 2009.
With deeply appreciation the family would like to say a special Thank You to Hospice of East Texas, you were not only there for our Mom but reached out with open arms, tender loving care, professional guidance and support at such a sad time in our life and for that we are forever grateful.
