The Hopkins County 4H kids from four chapters invited to Tuesday’s (July 1st) Day Camp at Heritage Park were promised crafts and games, a step back in time. The 4her’s tried their hands at tin punch, making butter, woodworking and the centuries old art of paper decorating called quilling. They were also introduced to old methods of corn grinding and clothes washing. The activities included a scavenger hunt in the park and a hamburger lunch.
