Behind the scenes, the city of Sulphur Springs has been working to strike a deal where the Hopkins County Genealogical Society would move out of their prime Main Street building into the meeting room at the city Public Library. At Tuesday night’s City Council Meeting, the issue was brought to the surface as two members of the Genealogical Society spoke out against the move. One conceded though, it’s almost a done deal.
