The Eternal Flame Has Been Repaired, Reward For Arrest Still Offered

Tommy Allison, a Hopkins County Veterans Memorial Committee Member, tells us that the damaged Eternal Flame has been replaced and is now blazing away at its’ site at the Veterans Memorial on Celebration Plaza.  Recently the Eternal Flame was vandalized and some damage was also done to a kiosk on the site.  At last report, a $7,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the damage.  Allison initially offered a $1,000 reward.  Clint and Linda Buckley added $1,000 and Mary Bonham put in $5,000.
