The Sulphur Springs School Board Takes Up Personnel & Litigation Issues

The Sulphur Springs School Board will complete their evaluation of Superintendent Michael Lamb and consider a future contract and compensation for him during an executive session at a regular board meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the Admin Building.  During executive session, the board will also take up personnel and will meet with legal counsel concerning pending claims and ongoing litigation.  Any decisions of the matters will take place during open session.  In other business, the board will hear an audit for last school year presented by the firm of Rutherford, Taylor and Company.  Board members will also be recognized since January is School Board Appreciation Month.  Assistant Superintendent Betty Lawson will present the District Improvement Plan for this year for the board to approve and will give a report on special programs budgeted funds for this school year.
