There is a section in the front of the Sulphur Springs High School Library called Wildcat Café. That’s where the library’s cappuccino machine is located. Librarian Kathy Houchins says the machine, new this school year, has been very successful and has received lots of positive comments. It features three flavors: French vanilla, English toffee and mocha. A small drink is 50-cents and a large drink $1. Funds raised benefit the school’s UIL Academic Team. Ms. Houchins says drinks are not given to a student during their lunch period. Most drinks are purchased before school. Some are sold between classes if teachers allow them. Lids on the drinks cut down on spills.
