Funeral services for Rebecca Ratliff, age 87 of Cumby will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with David Burns officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery with Josh George, Todd Higginbotham, Eric Higginbotham, Mark McDaniel, Dale Cameron and Douglas Cameron serving as pallbearers.
Ms. Ratliff passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Hico, TX on October 11, 1927, the daughter of Albert and Martha Creel Anderson. She married Lloyd B. Ratliff on September 6, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include: daughter, Martha J. Ratliff Gaines and husband, Kenneth of Cumby; grandchildren, Donna George of Brashear, Deborah Cameron of West Tawakoni, Paula Teague of McAlester, OK; great-grandchildren, Josh George, Rebecca McDaniel, Todd Higginbotham, Eric Higginbotham, Crystal Teague, Bradley Teague, Dale Cameron, Douglas Cameron; great-great-grandchildren, Cason George, Bryson Kennedy, Gracie Teague, Charlie Teague, Luke Cameron and Brant Cameron
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Lloyd E. Ratliff; four brothers and two sisters.
