Funeral services for William “Bill” Dickey, age 67 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Reilly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Baxley officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with his nephews serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
William “Bill” passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
He was born the son of Samuel Clyde and Hester (Baxley) Dickey on April 8, 1948 in Sulphur Springs. He married Belinda Ann Whitney on July 4, 1970 in Deport, TX.
He was a master mixer at Sunbelt Mineral Company and a member of the Reilly Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Darrell Lynn Johnson and husband, Brian of Sulphur Springs and Jaclyn Elaine Winn and husband Daniel of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Katherine Victoria Johnson and Johnathan Isaiah Johnson; sisters, Bessie Ann Cockrum, Willa Ruth Dickey, Carolyn Smith, Peggy Sue Miller and Pasty Lou Riley, all of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Tommy Lynn Dickey of Mineral Wells and Sam Dickey of Sulphur Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Allen Clyde Dickey and one sister, Linda Sue Dickey.
