Funeral service for Frances Correne Henson Parker, 92, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Grace Family Church with Rev. Doug Barker and Rev. Al Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Jason Frazier, Rick Frazier, Lee Parker, Colby Parker, Ruston Frazier, Caleb Frazier, and Colton Frazier serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to service time.
Mrs. Parker passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab. She was born on April 1, 1923 in Pittsburg, TX, the daughter of David Copperfield and Fannie Belle Peterson Benefield Henson. She married Dorman Lee Parker on June 20, 1942 in Weatherford, TX. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Grace Family Church in Sulphur Springs, TX and was a homemaker.
She is survived by son, Wayne Parker and wife Clary of Sulphur Springs, TX, daughters, Jean Frazier and husband Billy Wayne of Sulphur Springs, TX, Daphney Gail Hood and husband Johnny of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Marilyn Ann White and husband Roger of Lake Jackson, TX, grandchildren, Rick and Jason Frazier, Lee, Colby, and Carly Parker, Dana and Alan White, Wesley Hood, Felecia Heinz, great-grandchildren, Ruston and Macy Frazier, Caleb and Colton Frazier, Bradley Reinhart, Cody and Jessica Heinz, Ashlyn and Makinna White, James, Julian, and Joseph Hood, Joshua, Betzi, and Clara Parker, and great-great-grandchildren, Ashton Frazier and Sterling Bradley Reinhart.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by, brothers, Calvin and Paul Henson, sisters, Bessie Schane, Josephine Glidwell, Elma Sanders, Udell Schane, Gladys Greenlee, and Nora Haubert Glover.
