Don’t have any big vacation plans this summer? If you’re not careful, you could end up spending the next 3 months sleeping in till noon and forgetting how to put your shoes on. Treat yourself better this summer. There are many things you can do, you just have to put yourself up to it.
Head out to Buford Park, play basketball, skate, or have a picnic with friends. Or can even walk or bicycle around Coleman Lake. What about heading to the square for the Friday Night Movie? Spending time with friends and family is the cherry on top of a perfect summer.
To spice up your summer a bit, you could organize a party in your house or you could throw a barbecue party in your backyard. Make some yummy steaks, invite your closest buddies, play some music and have a fun night at home. If that doesn’t work for you, you could just throw a simple party, order pizza and relax with your friends.
You can also get a summer job; mowing laws, babysitting, car wash, farm work, or help a parent for money.
I used to sleep in till noon, watch Netflix and eat all day. But this summer I decided to end lazies. I am now an intern at KSST. I get up each morning at 6:30, get myself ready, then head up to the station. I don’t have time for friends during the week, but on weekends I get a chance to spend time with them.
Whatever your decide, there are many ways to spend your summer. Having a productive summer requires a little more effort.
