Funeral services for Jesse Luis Vasquez, age 25 of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Comer and Dustin Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at Gafford Chapel Cemetery with Richard Ellis Adamson, Lupe Diosdado, Ty Rollison, Sharad Timmons, William Vasquez, Justin Tyler, Rashad Hall, Bradley Washington and Anthony Mills serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Jesse passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 10, 1990 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Jose Luis and Mary Annette Garcia. He was married to Rekeiya (Harrison) Vasquez. He was employed at Ocean Spray and a 2009 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School.
He is survived by his wife, Rekeiya; daughter, Aaliyah Harmony Faith Vasquez of Sulphur Springs; mother, Mary Garcia of Sulphur Springs; father, Jose Vasquez of Mineral Wells; brothers, Michael Garcia and Gerald Zavala, both of Sulphur Springs; sister, Angelina Dominguez of Sulphur Springs and grandmother, Bonnie Cockrum of Sulphur Springs.
