Funeral service for Patsy McLeroy, age 83, of Garland, will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, 2:00 pm, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Emory City Cemetery. Mrs. McLeroy passed away Tuesday evening, at her residence.
Patsy was born July 2, 1932, in Emory, to Horace Cleo and Evelyn Plunk Plunk. She graduated from Emory High School in 1949 as Valedictorian. She married Herman Aud “Boots” McLeroy, in Emory, on July 1, 1951.Patsy was a member of Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Garland.

Daughters: Donna Kaye McLeroy of Garland; and, Sandra McLeroy DeJong (Ron) of McKinney.
Sister: Flora Etta Hines of Emory
Brothers: Sonny Plunk of Jacksonville; Bobby Plunk (Molly) of Miller
Grove; George Plunk (Judy) of Mesquite; and, Sam Plunk (Terry) of Spring
Grandchildren: Tony McLeroy (Elaine); and Grant DeJong
Great-grandchildren: Madeline and Evelyn McLeroy

Preceded in death by : Parents; Sister, Dianna Plunk; Great-grandson, Colt Justus McLeroy; 2 sisters-in-law, Rosella Plunk and Joyce Plunk; and, brother-in-law, Junior Hines.
