Darlene Stanford, who has organized Veteran’s events in Hunt County, plans a Memorial Day Ceremony and BBQ for Veterans and all the citizens of Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County. On Monday May 30 at 11am, plan to be on Celebration Plaza for a “We Honor Veterans” ceremony which will include recognition of members of the branches of military, speakers, music and 21-gun salute, followed by a BBQ lunch served free of charge. Please bring lawn chairs for seating.
