Roy McGahee’s new outpatient clinic, Sulphur Springs Imaging Center, opened during 2016 to serve the Hopkins County area. Bringing over 30 years of experience as a radiologist, the clinic offers patients new options in sonogram, X-ray, CT scanning and MRI services. Roy also operates five similar clinics around Northeast Texas; in Longview, Rockwall, Greenville, Mt. Pleasant and Paris, with Sulphur Springs as the sixth of the ACR-accredited facilities.
For a bit of history, the Paris clinic was the first of it’s kind in Texas, opened in the 1950’s by the late Dr. Jimmy Clifford as an outpatient X-ray clinic. His two sons, Dr. Philip Clifford and Dr. Steven Clifford are among the radiologists on-staff at the Paris center today. Sulphur Springs Imaging Center is located at 109 Medical Circle, just off Church Street.
