Funeral service for James Daniel Cowden, age 67, of Emory, will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Wayne Wolfe and Mark Cowden will officiate. Burial will follow in Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday evening, 5:00-7:00 pm, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel.Daniel was born on Jan. 20, 1949, in Corsicana, to Oddis and Trudy Faye Cantrell Cowden. He worked as a truck driver and maintenance personnel for a furniture company most of his life. Daniel married Sharon Lee Cofer in Balch Springs on Jan. 20, 1968. He was a Christian, a child of Yahvah.
