United Way Allocates Additional 2015-2016 Funds

United Way Allocations were increased to the 18 agencies receiving funds from the organization. An additional $43,395.19 was allocated by the board and dispersed Thursday morning in a special meeting of the United Way Board.

Community Chest will receive the largest increase at $21605.01, or 49.79% of the additional moneys allocated. Lake Country CASA will receive an additional $2,777.79. CANHELP will receive an additional $2,546.30 as will the Christian Alliance. Heritage Outreach will receive an additional $2,469.14. Others receiving additional funds are:

  • Meal-A-Day $2,160.50
  • Shadow Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center $1,080.25
  • Winnsboro Community Resource Center $61.73
  • MADD $308.64
  • Sulphur Springs Symphony League $231.48
