Funeral Mass of Christian burial for Lola Gammill Andree, age 91, of Yantis, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017, at St. James Catholic Church on Texas St. with Father Juan Sardinas officiating. Rosary will begin at 12:30 prior to service time. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Arbala Cemetery with Michael Ray Elkins, Jason Espinosa, Marty Cole, Matthew Porter, Andrew Ingram, Justin Scott, and Ryan Andre’ serving as pallbearers.
Lola passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at her residence. Lola Pearl Gammill Andree was born April 15, 1925 in Rains County to James Tice Gammill and Katie Lee Lomax Gammill. She earned a BA in Education from East Texas University, Commerce in 1982. She married Leo B. Andree, in Rockwall, on May 23, 1943. He precedes her in death. She was a homemaker. Lola is survived by her sons, Leo B.(Lee) Andree and wife, Sandi, of Yantis, Jim Andree and wife, Lynda, of Austin, daughters, Mary(Kaysie) Elkins and husband, Wayne, of Temple, Patti Espinosa and husband, Johnny, of Irving, Nancy Ingram and husband, Gary, of Waco, Lola Marie Scott and husband, Danny, of Chandler, 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Lou Cimarolli and husband, Jack Robottom of Richardson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sandy Brackeen, brother, J.T. Gammill and an infant sister, Edna Earl Gammill.
