Patti Sells celebrated her victory over cancer in the Celebration Square Fountain Wednesday February 1st, 2017. Close to 100 people surrounded her during a special romp. Patti said her cancer free declaration occurred on her son Tanner Higgins Birthday. “He had something to do with it.” said Patti. Patti puts her faith in God, and knows He healed her.
Surrounded by all manor of supporters Patti took turns anointing willing bystanders.
Children also took advantage of the rare opportunity to splash in February.
City manager Marc Maxwell had the fountain filed and ready for the event. Community Development Specialist Sarah Dicus was on hand to provide music requested by Patti.
