Funeral service for Troy Laveral Brimer, age 59, of Emory, will be held on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, 2:00 pm, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. Bro. Rick Childers and Bro. Homer Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow service in Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood. Visitation will be on Thursday evening 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Brimer passed away suddenly mid-morning on Monday, the 13th, in Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs.
Troy was born March 30, 1957, to Alfie Laveral and Ada Joan Kerby Brimer.He worked as an assembler/installer at L-3 in Greenville.Troy married Ruth Ann Weatherford in Point on June 27, 1981.Troy was a Christian and loved the Lord.He and his family were members of Holy Ghost Central where he served as a deacon and was a member of the board.

Everyone in the family is from Emory.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
