Mr. Albert Mays, age 77 of Pickton, passed away on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 in Sulphur Springs. He was born on May 2nd, 1939 in Pampa, TX, to the late Albert Mays and Alma Purcell Mays. Mr. Mays was retired from the dairy industry and was a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Tammy May; brother, Jimmy Mays; grandson, Chauncey Mays and his surviving wife, Kathy Mays.
He is survived by, wife, Debra Mays of Pickton; sons, Thomas Mays and wife Tammy of Cookville, Patrick Mays of Winnsboro, Brad Malone of Sulphur Springs, Paul Malone and wife Denine of Quitman; daughter, Tracy Crews and wife Karry of Commerce; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31st, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 10:00 am, with Bro. Johnny Wheat and Bro. B.J. Teer conducting, interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery in Miller Grove, with Brandon Hudson, Cameron Hudson, Matthew Malone, Cody Scheyenne Mays, Joe Rorie, and Tommy Mays serving as pallbearers.
