Sybil Priscilla Lewallen

Sybil Priscilla Lewallen (69) of Sulphur Springs, Texas, beloved wife of Joe Hayes Lewallen, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend to many went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 27, 2017. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Saturday March 4, 2017 at West Oaks Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Sunday March 5, 2017 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Bryant officiating. Interment will take place immediately following in Arbala Cemetery with John Breazeale, Caleb Pritchard, Alex Pritchard, Luke Lewallen, Austin Pritchard, Beau Pritchard, Braden Breazeale, and Grant Breazeale serving as Pall Bearers. Serving as Honorary Pall Bearers are Eddie Stewart, Michael Stewart, and Danny Daniel.

Priscilla was born to Burl and Elizabeth Jones on May 13, 1947 in Dallas, TX.  Priscilla grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Highlands High School. Priscilla and Joe were married on August 3, 1975 in San Antonio, but their life together would take them to residency in Orr, MN; Berwick, LA; Bakersfield, CA; San Antonio, Corpus Christie, Redland (on more than one occasion), Corsicana, and finally to their 50-acre farm in Sulphur Springs. Where Priscilla raised Guinea and Dominique chickens, among others, and a mean old Banty rooster…who attacked, and often.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Elizabeth Jones and younger brother Timothy Jones, all of San Antonio.  She is survived by her loving husband Joe Lewallen of Sulphur Springs, TX; son John and Julie Pritchard of South Carolina, children Alex, Austin, and Samantha; son Timothy Pritchard of Granbury, TX, children Beau, Paige, and Caleb; son Joe Scott and Robin Lewallen of Yukon, OK, children Hunter, Tyler, Cody, Payton, Tobi, and Taylor; daughter Ginger and John Breazeale of Corsicana, TX, children Luke, Braden, and Grant. She is also survived by sister Pamela and Eddie Stewart of San Antonio, sister Patricia and Danny Daniel of San Antonio, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
