Melody Ruth Smith, age 62 of Sachse, passed away on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on October 5th, 1954 in Odesa to the late Harlin Smith and Shirley Smith. She was a member of Cypress Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Mattie Lou Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Melinda Close of Sachse; brothers, Monte Smith of Sachse and Jim Smith of Winnsboro.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Cypress Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at Cypress Baptist Church at 11:00 am, Bro. Steve Smith conducting. Interment will follow at Cypress Cemetery in Winnsboro.
