Harvey Doyle Hantsche, age 81, of Point, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, in Tyler, at Hospice of East Texas. Harvey was born May 21, 1936, in Winters, to Theodore and Ethel Vogler Hantsche. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and in the U.S. Navy. During his working years, he worked in construction as an iron worker. He belonged to the Iron Workers Union. Also, Harvey was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He married Sheila M. Wittenmyer (Roberson) in Point, on April 13, 2002. Harvey was of the Lutheran faith.

Brother: Harry Arlis Hantsche (Helen) of Arlington;
Sons: Bryon Hantsche (Kelly) of Rice; and, Zane Hantsche (Diana) of Fullerton, CA;
Daughters: Rebecca Vaughn (Jimmy) of Kingsland; Wendy Johnson (Robert) of McKinney; Sheri Moore of Garland; and, Lori Moore of Dallas;
Grandchildren: Aaron Hantsche, Lydia Hantsche, Michael Hantsche, Eric Hantsche, Nicole Snart, Christopher Luna; Andrew Johnson; Robert Charles (Trey) Johnson; Kaylie Austin, McKenzie Austin, Lucas Sloan, George Logan Sloan;
Great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Hantsche, and Nevaeh Williams;
Faithful little companion: Susie;
Members of his AA group of Emory;
Numerous other loving family and friends
