Eugene Earl Barnes, Jr.

Earl Eugene Barnes, Jr., age 75, of Emory, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.  Mr. Barnes’ memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2017, at 4:00 PM at Believers’ Baptist Church, with Dr. Jason Rolen and Bro. Dwight Smith officiating.  Cremation under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Barnes was born on April 14, 1942, in Dallas, to Earl Eugene and Christine Love Barnes.  He married Barbara Faye Rogers in New Orleans, LA, on July 25, 1963.  He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard.  Mr. Barnes worked as Vice President and General Manager of DalAir in Point.  He was a member of Believers’ Baptist Church.

Daughter: Tara Whittington (James) of Yantis;

Son: Earl Eugene Barnes, III of Ft. Worth;
