The 11th Annual Senior Expo was conducted at League Street Church of Christ on Tuesday morning. There were 50 Vendor Booths at the Expo, according to Karen Weatherman, Director of the Sulphur Springs Senior Center. She said that every Vendor brought a $ 25.00 Door Prize for people in attendance could win.The vendors handed out information and answered many questions that the Seniors had about things that are important in their lives. There were Home Health Agencies, Hospice Agencies, Physical Therapy Agencies, Agencies with Hearing Devices, Funeral Homes, Hospitals, Drug Stores, Assisted Living Facilities, Doctors, Attorneys, Financial Planners, and more.
Weatherman said there was something for everyone who is or is taking care of an elderly person. People need to attend these Health Fairs and Get educated about what
is available to them before they need these services, according to Weatherman.
