Sonja D. Forrester, age 50, of Dallas, died Wednesday at Baylor Hospital Dallas of complications from diabetes and an infection.

Survivors include daughter Ashley Gregg of Winnsboro, TX, son Bryan Hick of Canton, TX and son Corey Hicks of Como, TX. Also her brothers Junior Cotten of Como, TX., Jamie Cotten of San Marcos, TX and Tony Forrester of Conroe, TX. Also survived by 11 grandkids and 9 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Martha Jo Cotten-Forrester June 1979 and Brother Glenn Cotten November 2015 and Nephew Jimmy Cotten November 1999. There will be a small private celebration of Sonja’s life for the immediate family and interment will be in the Como Cemetery along side of her Mom.

 We all loved her and will miss her dearly. Hope she finally rests in peace.
