Funeral services for Beverly Ann Jones, age 82,of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Perkins and Michael Jones officiating.Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery with Michael Jones, David Jones, HansGeuther, Nicolas Geuther, Nathan Porter, and Andy Wright. Visitation will beheld from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Beverly passed away on November 24, 2018 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab.
She was born on October 10, 1936 in Montrose, CO, the daughter of Arthur and Violet Aileen Kuru McCulloch. She married George N. Jones on March 15, 1955 in Denver, CO. He preceded her in death. Beverly and her husband moved to Sulphur Springs in 1980. She was a Mother of four children, a homemaker, a rancher, andthe military wife of a 22 year US Air Force Veteran. She loved painting and crafting, was a seamstress for Hunter Co for 8 years, and she also worked several years at Walmart. She worked side-by-side with her husband on their dairy cattle ranch for many years. Beverly wasa member of the Posey Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Kathy Geuther and husband Hans of Aurora, CO, Deborah Bailey of Lakewood, CO, sons, David Jones and wife Karen of Sulphur Springs,Michael Jones and Cindy Pentico of Thornton, CO; 10 grandchildren: Erica and Nicolas Geuther, Lauren and Mackenzie Bailey, Nathan Porter, Danielle and Jessica Jones, Amber Zamudio, Ashley Elizabeth and Morgan Jones, 12 great-grandchildren, and sister, Violet Holland of Commerce City, CO.
In addition to her husband, she is also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronald McCulloch.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
