Lady Cats Softball Schedule Changes Friday and Saturday at Allen Tournament
The Lady Cats’ softball team now has a different schedule for Friday and Saturday (February 22-23) play in the Allen Varsity Invitational Softball Tournament. On Friday the Lady Cats play Waco Midway at 11 a.m. and Wylie East at 3 p.m. on Allen High School Field #2. The Lady Cats then are scheduled to play Frisco Independence Saturday at 1 p.m. at Allen Station 4. The Lady Cats won their first two games in the tournament Thursday and they are 8-0 so far this season.
Soccer Times Change on Game Day Friday Due to Weather Concerns
There is also soccer and tennis on this Friday (February 22) game day and the soccer game times have changed due to weather concerns. The Lady Cats’ soccer team is hosting Texas High at Gerald Prim Stadium. This is now a varsity only contest starting at 5:30 p.m. Both teams are in search of the first district win. Meanwhile the Wildcats soccer team travels to Texas High. This is also now a varsity only game starting at 5:30 p.m. The Wildcats have opened district play at 0-3. Also on this Friday game day, the Wildcats’ tennis team is playing in a tournament at John Tyler at last report.
