Funeral service for Patricia Virgel, age 74, of Peerless will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. David Burns officiating and Bro. Doyle Hayes and Bro. Phillip Mathis assisting.
Interment will follow at Peerless Cemetery with Ben Stoneberg, Jamison Virgel, Brian Virgel, Danny Stewart, Andy Kendall, and Wesley Houchins serving as pallbearers and serving as honorary pallbearers are Tony Virgel, Tim Virgel, and Terry Speed.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Virgel passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Medical City-Plano.
Patricia was born on Feb. 13, 1945, in Cooper, to Joe Bill and Florida Maynard. She married Elbert W. “Pete” Virgel in Cooper on March 14, 1961, and she was a member of Peerless Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Virgel; children, Terry Virgel and wife Vicki, Randy Virgel, and Donnie Virgel and wife Robyn; grandchildren, Jodi, Brian, Lacey, Mason, Peyton and Alyson; five great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Stewart, Billie Robinson and Connie Parker.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild, Matthew Virgel; sisters, Dorothy Skinner and Frances Rowe; brothers, Ronny Maynard and Joe D. Maynard; and several nieces and nephews.
