Police Arrest 2 Sulphur Springs Residents On Felony Warrants
October 18, 2019 – Sulphur Springs police arrested two men Thursday on felony warrants.
Zack Atwood Merrill, 38, of Sulphur Springs was taken into custody at 10:05 a.m. Oct. 17 by SSPD Special Crimes Unit Lt. Mark Estes and Sgt. Joe Scott at the adult probation office on a warrant for violation of probation, which he was on for tampering with evidence, according to jail reports.
He remained in the county jail on the charge Friday morning, Oct. 18, according to jail reports.
SSPD Investigator Brian Shurtleff was made aware of of a 17-year-old Sulphur Springs man’s location. He contacted Chanin Arwon Holiness at 1:15 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Alternative School and served him with the unauthorized use of motor vehicle warrant.
He remained in the county jail Friday morning, Oct. 18. Bond on the charge was set at $5,000.
