The company reportedly became aware of the potential presence of small food-grade yellow plastic pieces from a dough scraper that was incorporated into the production process of a small amount of product, after seeing the yellow pieces on manufacturing equipment.

This recall is limited exclusively to the Cheese Nips product with the retail UPC code 0 44000 03453 5, and Best When Used By dates of 18MAY20, 19MAY20 and 20MAY20. The producte was solde at retail stores nationwide. No other Mondelēz Global LLC products are included in or affected by this recall.

According to the Mondelēz Global LLC no reports of injury or illness have been reported related to this product.

Consumers should discard any of the potentially affected product they may have.
