January 22
- At approximately 12:12 a.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist on Highway 80.
- Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 3450 at approximately 12:22 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
- Deputies conducted a traffic stop on County Road 3490/FM 2869 at approximately 1:55 a.m. Jeremy Lemley, 40, of Holly Lake Ranch, was arrested for possession of controlled substance.
- Deputies responded to a call, at approximately 9:29 a.m., on County Road 1630 in Alba in reference to actors, or actors unknown, driving their vehicle in and tearing up the reporting party’s pasture. The deputies will provide extra patrol in the area.
- Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Highway 154 in Yantis at approximately 9:51 a.m. Joyce Dickson, 40, of Yantis, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
- Deputies were dispatched to the WCSO lobby, at approximately 10:38 a.m., in reference to credit card abuse. This case is forwarded to investigators.
- At approximately 2:46 p.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist on Highway 154 at 3204.
- Deputies were dispatched to the Mineola Police Department, at approximately 4:25 p.m., in reference to a report of deadly conduct that occurred on County Road 2502 several days earlier. The reporting party stated that actors, or actors unknown, pointed a rifle at her. The case was forwarded to investigators.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4779 in Winnsboro, at approximately 5:03 p.m., in reference to an alarm. This was determined to be a false alarm.
- At approximately 9:46 p.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist on FM 14.
January 23
- Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 in Hawkins, at approximately 12:18 a.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Deputies contacted the individual and cleared the incident.
- Deputies were dispatched to W. Holly Trail in Hawkins, at approximately 6:50 a.m., in reference to an inquest. A female, 77, of Holly Lake Ranch was found deceased in her residence. The Justice of the Peace was notified and an autopsy was ordered.
- Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Main Street in Winnsboro at approximately 9:06 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
- At approximately 9:31 a.m., deputies received a call from an individual reporting a theft that had occurred at County Road 2840 in Mineola a few days earlier. The reporting party stated that actors, or actors unknown, had burglarized his truck and removed several items of value. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
- Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 1917 at approximately 10:23 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
- Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 4627 in Winnsboro at approximately 12:09 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2770 in Mineola, at approximately 12:57 p.m., in reference to an inquest. A male, 75, of Mineola, was found deceased in his residence. The Justice of the Peace was notified and no autopsy was ordered.
- At approximately 1:00 p.m., a deputy on patrol observed a car in a ditch on South FM 17 in Alba and stopped to investigate. Cheyenna Hendrickson, 19, of Alba, was then arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3459 in Hawkins, at approximately 1:32 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was ok.
- Deputies were dispatched to County road 2934 in Alba, at approximately 2:37 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies spoke with the homeowner and everything was ok.
- At approximately 2:43 p.m., deputies were dispatched to County Road 2770 in Mineola in reference to credit card fraud. The reporting party stated that her credit card was used without her consent and wanted it documented.
- Deputies were dispatched to FM 1643 in Winnsboro, at approximately 3:19 p.m., in reference to a dog bite. The deputy was able to locate the dogs involved, speak to the owner and have the dogs quarantined. They showed no signs of rabies.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4849 in Winnsboro, at approximately 5:22 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies discovered that the noise was a bird boomer cannon being used to scare birds away.
- At approximately 6:47 p.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist on 37, south of Quitman.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2121 in Quitman, at approximately 8:39 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone shooting.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1301 in Yantis, at approximately 9:11 p.m., in reference to a truck being parked at a construction site. Deputies searched the area, found the site undisturbed and cleared the incident.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1860 in Yantis, at approximately 9:51 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was ok.
January 24
- At approximately 1:35 a.m., deputies were dispatched to FM 515 in Yantis in reference to a possible burglary. The deputies searched the area and confirmed that all of the storage units were secure.
- Cows were reported out on FM 312 near County Road 4798 in Winnsboro at approximately 7:31 a.m.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1788 in Yantis, at approximately 9:21 a.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Deputies searched the area, located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
- At approximately 9:27 a.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist.
- At approximately 10:19 a.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist in Highway 80.
- Cows were reported out on County Road 4890 / County Road 4859 at approximately 10:37 a.m.
- Cows were reported out on County Road 1840 in Yantis at approximately 3:39 p.m.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2150 in Quitman, at approximately 5:07 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Tara Cooper, 33, of Quitman, was arrested for Reckless Driving and Abandon Endanger Child Criminal Negligence.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2951 in Golden, at approximately 9:03 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone shooting.
- Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 5174, at approximately 10:02 p.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle, spoke to the driver and cleared the incident.
- Deputies were dispatched to FM 2225 in Quitman, at approximately 11:52 p.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
January 25
- At approximately 8:20 a.m., cows were reported out on County Road 1840 in Yantis.
- At approximately 8:46 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2966, near 3220.
- Deputies were dispatched to FM 1804 in Mineola, at approximately 9:18 a.m., in reference to a vehicle in the Sabine River. Deputies assisted DPS and Game Wardens in determining that the vehicle was unoccupied, but reported stolen out of Dallas.
- Deputies were dispatched to Birchwood Lane in Holly Lake Ranch, at approximately 10:31 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. The individual was located and transported to the hospital.
- At approximately 12:37 p.m., horses were reported out on County Road 1967.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2332, at approximately 3:51 p.m., regarding kids throwing eggs at cars. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individuals.
- Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 5295 in Yantis, at approximately 4:45 p.m., in reference to a violation of a protective order. This case was forwarded to investigators. Justin Friddle, 36, of Quitman, was arrested out of county for Viol Bond/Protective Order Assault/Stalking.
- Deputies conducted a traffic stop on County Road 2320 in Quitman at approximately 7:45 p.m. Deputies performed a Standard Field Sobriety Test on the driver and were in the process of an arrest when the driver requested EMS. She was released to EMS, but was advised that a warrant would be issued for her arrest.
- At approximately 8:42 p.m., deputies were dispatched to N. FM 17 in Alba in reference to an open garage door. Deputies checked the area, found no evidence of forced entry and cleared the incident.
- Deputies were dispatched to n. Highway 37 in Quitman, at approximately 9:27 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies checked the area and secured the building.
- At approximately 10:20 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 in Yantis in reference to an assault. Deputies located the victims of the assault who stated that they did not wish to pursue the case. Deputies cleared the incident.
- Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 6884 in Mineola, at approximately 11:00 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was ok.
January 26
- Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 7855 in Hawkins, at approximately 9:56 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual who was transported by EMS.
- Deputies were dispatched to FM 1799 in Mineola, at approximately 1:57 p.m., in reference to criminal mischief. Actors, or actors unknown, illegally accessed the property, damaged a game camera, cut 2 locks on an enclosure and released 2 animals. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2840 in Mineola, at approximately 2:26 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies determined this to be a false alarm.
- At approximately 4:56 p.m., deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 in Hawkins in reference to a disturbance. Deputies met with the involved individuals and cleared the incident.
- Horses were reported out on Highway 37 at 1643 in Quitman at approximately 5:45 p.m.
- At approximately 7:01 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 in reference to a suspicious person. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.
- Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Richard Street in Quitman at approximately 7:42 p.m. Dereick Hettich, 39, of Quitman, was arrested for outstanding warrants.
- Deputies were dispatched to Highway 80/2790, at approximately 8:08 p.m., in reference to a traffic hazard. Deputies moved a large pipe out of the roadway.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2922 in Golden, at approximately 8:10 p.m., in reference to an inquest. A male, 59, was found deceased in his residence. The Justice of the Peace was notified and no autopsy was ordered.
- At approximately 11:12 p.m., deputies were dispatched to N. 37 in reference to a fire. Deputies determined this to be an individual burning trash.
January 27
- Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 69 in Mineola at approximately 2:18 a.m. Tyler Hall, 20, of Sherman, was arrested for outstanding warrants. Christopher Gallardo, 23, of Sherman, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and Failure to Identify.
- At approximately 4:34 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Broadway in Alba in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.
- Cows were reported out on 2088/2869 at approximately 7:54 a.m.
- At approximately 12:09 p.m., cows were reported out on Loop 564 south of 80.
- At approximately 2:17 p.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist at FM 2869/FM 14.
- Deputies received a phone call from an individual reporting the theft of a trailer from Highway 80 at FM 3056 at approximately 2:34 p.m. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
- Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 1917 in Yantis at approximately 3:41 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
- At approximately 4:22 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 312.
- Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 4627 in Winnsboro at approximately 7:30 p.m. Steven Martin, 28, of Winnsboro, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
- Deputies were dispatched to S. FM 14 in Mineola, at approximately 9:15 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies met with the involved parties, had them separate and then cleared the incident.
January 28
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2910 in Mineola, at approximately 7:11 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
- At approximately 11:13 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 in Quitman in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2910, at approximately 1:10 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies determined it to be a false alarm.
- At approximately 1:48 p.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist on County Road 2840/2843.
- Deputies were dispatched to 778/2369, at approximately 3:51 p.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3170 in Quitman, at approximately 4:25 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone shooting.
- At approximately 4:45 p.m., cows were reported out on County Road 2688 in Hawkins.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4700 in Winnsboro, at approximately 9:31 p.m., in reference to a possible burglary in progress. Deputies searched the location and found everything secure.
- Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4560 in Winnsboro, at approximately 10:32 p.m., in reference to an inquest. A male, 49, was found deceased in his residence. The Justice of the Peace was notified and no autopsy was ordered.
- At approximately 11:29 p.m., deputies provided assistance to a motorist on 69/2345.
