Bobby Carl Widner, age 66, of Sulphur Springs, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Carriage House Manor. He was born on October 23, 1954, in Haines City, FL, the son of Robert Calvin and Alice Inez Henry Widner. Bobby worked as a diesel mechanic specializing in CAT equipment for 40 years. Growing up Bobby loved to play baseball. He pitched a lot of no hitter games in little league. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and water skiing. He loved going to the NHRA and NASCAR races. After moving to Texas, he became an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Bobby is survived by brother, Keith Widner and wife Teena of Picayune; MS; sisters, Ann Woods and husband Jimmy of Emory, TX, Cynda Kay Adams of Marlin, TX; nephews, Brian Keith Nichols of Marlin, TX, David Joseph Adams of Marlin, TX; nieces, Terra Ann Parrish of Sherman, TX, Kayla Marie Widner of Picayune; MS; and great-niece, Traci Ann Bell of Sherman, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Calvin Widner; and sister, Alice Faye Moehlman.
