Funeral service for Harold Hill, age 75, will be held at New Pickton Church formerly the First Baptist Church of Pickton, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2 p.m. with interment at the New Pickton Cemetery. Officiating will be Brother Charlie Sickles. Family members will serve as pallbearers and Omer Miller will be the honorary pallbearer. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 3, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Hill passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at his home in Pine Forrest, Texas.
He was born the son of Clyde Hill and Margaret Blanton Hill in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on March 27, 1946. Mr. Hill married Margie Dell Regan at the old Sherley Church on February 14, 1990. She preceded him in death in 2020. Harold was a dairyman for many years, then, drove a truck the later part of his life, before retiring. He was member of the First Baptist Church of Pickton.
Survivors include sons, Scott Hill and wife Patricia of Cooper, and Chris Hill and wife Sharon of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Josh Hill and wife Grace, Caleb Hill and wife McKenzi, Ashley Collett and husband Matt of Valley View, Cassi Vanderjagt and husband Bennie of Sulphur Springs, Christian Hill of Sulphur Springs, Colton Walker and wife Brooke of Colorado Springs, CO, and Maverick Asbery of Sulphur Springs; and great-grandchildren, Kambri, Ryder, Paxton, Taygen, Brodix , Hadleigh, Kendell, Kennedy, Aubrey Collett, Conrad Vanderjagt, Allic Collett, Elena Walker, Kobe Collett and Emerson Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Margaret Hill; wife, Margie Regan Hill; and brother-in-love, Frankie Hudson.
