Steven Lee Osborn went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 22, 2022, at the age of 63 years, at his home in the Reilly Springs community. Steven was born June 29, 1958, in Dallas, Texas. He was a graduate of Cedar Hill High School and the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in accounting. Steven loved accounting, science fiction, and 70’s rock and roll music. We will remember him most for his unwavering love of Christ and his family.
On August 17, 1978, Steven married Trudy LaRoe. They shared twenty-five years of marriage, a lifetime of friendship, and the love of their son, Lee J Osborn.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Osborn, his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and John Allison, paternal grandparents, Willie Mae and Francis Osborn, his stepfather, Jerald Whitson, and his brother, Gregory Van Osborn.
He is survived by Trudy Osborn and their son, Lee J Osborn; his mother, Betsy Allison Whitson; and his siblings, Susan Whitson Periquet (Arnel), Shawn Whitson (Sharee’), Wade Whitson (Vickie), Sabrena Whitson Aaron (Ed), and Roberta Osborn Houser (Brent). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Shelton Whitson (Delaney), Shandler Whitson (Claire), Shelby Whitson, Vivianne Periquet, Spencer Periquet, and Cale Houser; and great-nephew, Jasper Whitson.
Graveside services will be held at Reilly Springs Cemetery on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Danny Caldwell officiating. Lee J Osborn, Shawn Whitson, Shelton Whitson, Shandler Whitson, Adam Teer, and Kerry Bailey will serve as pallbearers
