February 2023 – Coach Adriana Brena and Lady Cats soccer won big in Paris on Tuesday for their second straight win. Sulphur Springs won 6-1 in Paris on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
The women’s soccer team scored early and often in their Tuesday road-win.
Sulphur Springs scored four times in the first period in their blowout win. Even with Paris scoring in that period, it did little to cushion the blow as the Lady Cats scored twice more on Tuesday.
Following the 6-1 win on Tuesday, the women’s soccer team is 9-5 overall (2-0 district).
Remaining perfect through two games of 15-4A play, Coach Brena and her squad are the lone undefeated team in the district.
They took Friday off before heading to Pittsburg next Tuesday, Feb. 14.
Tuesday’s game in Pittsburg is varsity only, kicking off at 7 P.M.
