Ben E. Keith Co. Releases Statement Following Outage
March 23, 2023- Ben E. Keith, the food and alcohol distribution company headquartered in Fort Worth Texas, has released a statement following an outage that caused a shortage of products in local businesses. The outage may have been caused by a cyber attack.
The company release the following statement on their website Monday:
“Ben E. Keith recently detected unusual activity in our network. In response, we proactively disabled business systems to minimize risk for our business and our customers. We understand that our customers, employees, and business partners have been impacted by the outage and continue to work around the clock to fully restore our systems and operations. Our employees, customers and their customers are our top priority, and we are committed to getting back to business as usual as soon as possible.”
Some restaurants affected by this may include: Sonic and Raising Cane’s. Ben E. Keith distributes in 14 states in the United States.
