Funeral service for Johnny Ray Coleman, age 54, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, TX with Rev. Wilton McMorris officiating. Interment will follow at City Cemetery with Taylor Coleman, Branden Coleman, Billy Capps, Chris Spencer, Floyd Taylor, Thomas Matthews, Ryan Curry and Marlin Peters serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Coleman passed away at his home in Sulphur Springs, TX on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Johnny Ray Coleman was born on September 7, 1969 in Grand Prairie, TX to Don and Eula Ann (Taylor) Coleman. Johnny worked as a custodian at the Hopkins County Safety Rest Area.
Johnny is survived by his brothers, Ricky Coleman (Barbara) of Corinth, TX, Jerry Coleman of Sulphur Springs, TX; nephews, Taylor Coleman and Marlin Peters; niece, Laci Peters; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Eula Ann; sister, Janet Coleman; and niece, Alysa Coleman.
