Kara was born in Monticello, Arkansas, on May 27, 1983, with her name meaning “beloved friend.” She grew up in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and lived briefly during her adolescent years in Lafayette, Louisiana. Kara was well-traveled, living in Poughkeepsie, NY, Louisiana, and across Texas, including Sugar Land and Arlington. Kara gave her all to those she loved and spread her smile to countless. In her immensely short time on this side of heaven, Kara showed her family the value of a healing hug and the power of unconditional love.
A Memorial Service honoring Kara’s life and beautiful soul will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Aguilar Funeral Services Chapel. The family requests attendees to wear pink or emerald (green), in honor of the color Kara bestowed into all of our lives.
