Micah Loyd Stotts

Celebration of Life gathering for Micah Loyd Stotts will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Visitation will be one hour prior from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Pippin & Hill Cemetery in Miller Grove, Texas. Micah passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Micah was born on June 16, 1981, in Sulphur Springs. He grew up in Miller Grove, where he cultivated his love for cattle, farming and agriculture. Micah graduated from North Hopkins High School in 1999. He attended Texas A&M University – Commerce and Tulsa Welding School before pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities. Most recently, Micah traveled throughout Texas and surrounding states for Big B Crane Company.

Micah loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed discovering and creating delicious food. He had a passion for good country music, most of all, Keith Whitley. Micah never met a stranger. He could grow your heart with his infectious smile and will be missed by all who love him.

Micah is survived by aunts and uncles, Johnny and Kathy Lennon, Rex Lennon, Doris Stotts, Daymon Stotts, and Gerald and Doris Stotts; cousins, Mikyela Tedder, Trent Ashby, Laura Lennon, Loyd Lennon, Anna Black, Mardra Ashby, Carrie Cherney, Emily Whitworth, Ricky Smiley, Donna Fletcher, Lisa Willis, Ray Crabtree, Darryl Stotts, Randall Stotts, Shawn Stotts, Kristi Mayo, Jeff Stotts, Dayna Schuknecht, Brian Harrison, Brad Harrison, Larry Paul Stotts, and Clay Stotts; chosen family, Beverly Hill; and family, Tracy Clem and family, Marion “Shane” Roddy and family; and beloved companion and faithful friend, Haggard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddy Stotts and Lois Marjean Lennon Stotts; grandparents, Loyd and Margueritte Lennon, William and Cleo Stotts; aunts and uncles, Judith Lennon Ashby, Sid Ashby, Ann Smith, Sue Wallace, Larry Stotts, and Raymon Stotts.
