Meal-A-Day Blessed With SSISD Volunteers on Friday

August 8, 2024 – Staff from the SSISD Middle School showed up bright and early Friday to get in some community service hours. MAD put them to work preparing food for next week’s service.

They quickly completed the last bird from ‘Project Chicken’ then helped out with some cleanup and then went right for the watermelon.

Each member of the group was on their best behavior, and all are welcome to come back and help out anytime. No one had to go to the principal’s office.

Senior Citizens in Hopkins County will find the watermelon or honeydew in their meals next week.
