August 19, 2024 – The Meal-A-Day ‘Prep Team’ was busy Monday morning preparing pineapple and bell peppers for meals this week.
Meal-A-Day is powered by volunteers and we could always use more. Right now we have a shortage of drivers. Most routes take about one and a half hours to complete. Most drivers volunteers one day a week. For some seniors your knock and hot meal may be their only contact with the outside world. Our volunteer drivers find their work very rewarding.
