A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, September 15, 2024

Hey friends!! Talking about WAITING ON THE LORD today.
And here’s a little nugget: Wait at God’s promise until He meets you there, for He always shows up by the path of His promises.

Are you in a season of waiting? Waiting for provision, a spouse, a baby, a job, a position in ministry, freedom, healing, the suffering and storms to end?

Where are you in the waiting?

Abraham and Sarah: Waited 25 years for the birth of their son, Isaac.

Hannah and Rachel: Waited for children.

Moses: Waited 40 years in the desert before leading the Israelites out of Egypt

David: Waited about 15 years after being anointed as king before taking his place on the throne

Jesus: Waited 30 years before beginning his ministry

Jacob: Waited 14 years to marry Rachel

Joseph: Waited 13 years for his suffering to end.

Israelites: Waited 430 years as slaves in Egypt.

Woman with the issue of blood: Waited for her healing.

Ruth: Waited for a husband.

Paul: Waited for release from prison.

In those times of waiting, these people were called to serve their families and those around them; learn and listen expectantly to God; pray without ceasing; not grumble or complain; and fulfill the day to day work God called them to. He called them to prosper where they were. It wasn’t glamorous, showy, or especially exciting, but it was preparing them for what lay ahead.

God knows what we need, and if he wants us to wait, it’s always for our good and His glory. He calls us to faithfulness in the waiting. His word says I Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

In Romans 4:18-21 it says, Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping-believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead-and so was Sarah’s womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Friends, are we fully convinced God is able to do whatever He promises? Are we hoping and believing in Gods promises even where there is nothing tangible happening? Are we standing unwavering? When we do, our faith can grow stronger and stronger and in this faithfulness and unwavering stand, like Abraham, we can bring Glory to the Father!

Friends we must be fully convinced that God can do whatever He promises. So friends, Wait at God’s promise until He meets you there, for He always shows up by the path of His promises.

You are so loved!! “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
‭‭(Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬) ‭Don’t give up before the promise is fulfilled. Don’t give up before the rescue, the healing, the baby, the spouse, the provision, the freedom, etc comes. Stand at Gods promise until He meets you there. He is so faithful friends, He always answers. May not be exactly how we want it, but He always comes through. You are so loved! Live loved friends!!
