A visitation will be held for Dotsie Blanchard on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at
The Way Bible Church 674 FM 2560 Sulphur Springs TX
There will be no formal service. Dotsie passed away peacefully Sunday August 25

Dotsie was born in Ballinger TX July 22, 1927, to John Pratt and Annie Lee Tate
She had 2 brothers and 5 sisters
JB, Lavern, Mack, Tommye, (Dotsie), Patsy, Norma and Brenda
Married Richard D Blanchard in 1951 and had 2 sons Timothy and Patrick

Dotsie was a kind spirit with a quick sense of humor and incredible work ethic and truly loved people and
watching Texas Rangers baseball games, win or lose! She loved to watch game shows like Jeopardy. She loved being outside, planting flowers, and painting her bird houses.
She painted several canvases of the outdoors and was gifted at making
many arts and crafts around the house. She cooked from scratch with family recipes and made some great snacks!
She was a great Mother and Grandmother!
Dotsie retired from Wal-Mart after 36 years at the age of 90 in 2017,
Also worked on the family Dairy for years and was a Den Mother to Boy Scouts troop 64 in the early 60’s and was also a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone after graduating high school.
And many more adventures in a life well lived for 97 years!

Dotsie is survived her sister Brenda Pratt and son Patrick Blanchard
Daughter in law Patricia Blanchard, Grandsons Tim and wife Amy, Jason and wife Angela
Great Grandchildren Hunter Blanchard, Kylie Blanchard and
Neelie Blanchard

Dotsie is preceded in death by her father John Pratt and mother Annie Lee Tate
Brothers JB and Mack and sisters Lavern Pratt, Tammye Pratt, Patsy Pratt, Norma Varner,
