September 6, 2024 – A suspect is in custody as of late Friday after a long day of playing cat and mouse as police were looking for a male suspect that fled on foot after running off Pipeline Road ending a car chase. The suspect now sits in the Hopkins County Jail awaiting his bail to be set on the charge of Evading Arrest.
The Sulphur Springs Police Department and other local authorities are currently on the hunt for a suspect after a vehicle chase. The suspect is believed to be in the vicinity of Pipeline Road, maybe towards the area of Weaver Drive. The suspect that is described as a white male, wearing blue jeans and no shirt. Anyone having any information of the whereabouts of the suspect is urged to dial 911.
