A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, October 6, 2024

FROM A DISGRACE TO ACCEPTED BY HIS GRACE.

Friends, as I was reading up on some of the ladies in the Bible, I saw that several of them, Mary Magdalene, woman at the well, woman caught in adultery; were all a DISGRACE in their community. Most people you would ask about them would not have a high opinion of them. But when they met Jesus, they went from disgraced to accepted by His grace.

As the Bible goes, let’s look at Mary Magdalene. She was possessed by many demons and Jesus came and set her free. We don’t read anything else about Mary’s past after that. BUT we do read about her new life! She walked with the Lord. She witnessed Him being crucified. She was the one who went to the tomb to tend to her Lord after his death and she was the first person Jesus revealed himself to after His resurrection. SHE WENT FROM DISGRACED TO ACCEPTED BY HIS GRACE! And friends, when we accept Him as our Lord, he takes our disgrace and gives us His grace because OUR disgrace was poured out on Him on the cross as heaven poured out His GRACE on us!

Don’t focus on who you used to be, focus on who He says you are!! He says, you are ACCEPTED! He says you are covered by His grace! The world may recognize you by your past disgrace, but wave and walk on in all His GRACE.
