Betty (Jean) Porter was born July 7, 1946, in Sulphur Springs Texas to Henry Smith Jr. and Erie Mae (Morris) Smith. She married Isaac Porter in Rains County on January 10, 1967. They have been married for 57 years.
Betty is survived by her husband, Isaac Porter of Sulphur Springs, TX; as well as her daughters, Yolanda Williams of Sulphur Springs TX, Rhonda Porter of Sulphur Springs TX, Vickie Walker (Juan) of Sulphur Springs, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Porter, Shateria (Bill) Porter, Rashaun Stokes, Nicholas Porter; Great grandchildren, Tyrelle Porter, Zakaylin Porter, Javoni (Chewi aka Curt) Porter, Malena Porter, Aida Stoke; Sister, Mary Moutaque (Kenneth) of Toledo, Ohio; brother in laws, Joe (Linda) Porter, Nell Porter, Aaron (Linda) Porter, Karren (Many) Porter, Judy Fields; and numerous Nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Erie Mae Smith; Sisters, Dorothy Washington (Gerald), Julia Ann Hawkins; nephew, Gerald D. Washington; great niece, Angelica Washington; granddaughter, Travesia Porter, and great grandchildren, Santana Peek, Brees Peek.
