Fall Festival for Missions Coming November 9, 2024

October 21, 2024 – Head over to Commerce, TX to the First United Methodist Church for their Fall Festival for Missions 2024. It all happens November 9 at the church from 10AM to 3PM.

It will include indoor and outside activities for kids and adults. Such as Bounce Houses, Face painting, crafts, a silent auction with homemade pecan pralines,  homemade cinnamon rolls, pizza, baskets from Mugs and Personalized Printing and more.  There will also be a bake sale, knitted and crocheted caps, shawls, and scarves, a pasta  lunch, sale of household items, and the sale of used books to benefit the Commerce Public Library.  Weather permitting, Pastor Cheryl will bless the animals at 10AM on the front lawn.

The fund’s raised  are used to supplement  drop-a-dollar donations for the Mission of the Month.

Commerce is a city in Hunt County, Texas, United States, situated on the eastern edge of North Texas, in the heart of the Texas Blackland Prairies. The town is 45 miles south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Commerce is the second-largest city in Hunt County, with a population of 9,090 at the 2020 census.
