October 29, 2024 – The Hopkins County Genealogical Society would like to take this opportunity to remind the community that Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night, November 2nd, 2024.
The Genealogical Society would also like to take this time to remind everyone to attend their annual Cemetery Walk on Sunday, November 3, 2024. The event will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The walk is being held at City Cemetery, and this year concentrates on the stories of brave Veterans. Prior to the tour Taps will be played by Marine Corp. Veterans Garry Hall.
